The Stamford Sharks are pleased to partner with Pro Crease Goaltending (PCG). Pro Crease is the largest exclusive goaltender-training program in Southern New England and the only organization that conducts a women's only camp every Summer.
Pro Crease’s elite staff, led by Jared Waimon, has delivered at multiple levels including numerous hockey organizations, prep schools, collegiate and professional. In addition to Jared, we are fortunate to have Charline Labonté, 4-time Olympic Gold Medalist for Team Canada, who is as dedicated to the Stamford Sharks and helping us craft a best-in-class goalie training program.
Dedicated Travel Team Goalie Training
Heading into the 2022 - 2023 season, we continue to take our goalie training program to the next level, with a renewed focus on results. Our objective is to ensure that goalies grow and develop their craft in our trademark positive environment.
We believe that goalies are a critical component of a hockey team and need dedicated training outside of team practice by coaches who understand the position's complexities.
Our age-appropriate instruction teaches the fundamentals, including proper depth, angles, and skate work (movement and recovery), along with staying "square" to the puck and correctly reading the play. We also address the critical mental aspects of the game.
Charline also provides age-appropriate off-ice psychological training to develop best pre-game routines and mental aspects of playing goaltender.
In collaboration with our partner, Pro Crease Goaltending (PCG), this holistic approach blends the skill development basics of modern-day goaltending, best-in-class professional coaching, an environment to optimize personal style a new level of personalization to goalie training.
